Frequently Asked Questions

Where are the FitSync gym locations?

We have five Tokyo gyms (Roppongi, Shinjuku, Shibuya, Ginza, Azabu-Juban) and offer on-site lessons across central Tokyo. Each gym is conveniently located near major stations; full addresses and the nearest stations are listed on each location page at fitsync.jp.

What kind of training can I receive?

Personal training is the core, with Muay Thai and kickboxing as specialty programs. Clients range from competition-oriented athletes to people training for general fitness, weight loss, or posture correction. No prior martial-arts experience is required.

Can international clients train here?

Yes. Coaching is available in both Japanese and English. We welcome high-net-worth and inbound guests. For Mandarin-speaking clients we currently provide service in English.

Is it OK for beginners?

Yes. Because the format is personal training, we tailor every session to the individual's fitness level and goals. Many clients have no prior martial-arts or training experience. Note: if you have an existing medical condition, are pregnant, or are under any exercise restriction from a physician, please consult your doctor in advance before contacting us.

What is the coverage area for on-site lessons?

We cover central Tokyo. The core areas are Minato-ku, Shibuya-ku, Shinjuku-ku, Chiyoda-ku, and Chuo-ku, with travel outside Tokyo possible on request. Sessions can be held at your home, your hotel, or a hotel during a business trip. Pricing depends on session length and travel distance.

Where can I watch the YouTube content?

On the FitSync YouTube channel — a short-video series called "Fitness English." The videos cover real personal-training scenarios, gym front-desk interactions, and useful English phrases, with both Japanese and English subtitles. New episodes are added daily through the AI pipeline, and the videos work well as English-prep material for clients who train with us.

Tell me about the founder and the trainers.

The founder is Issei Shima, a former pro fighter. With a background in Muay Thai and kickboxing coaching, he designs personal-training programs tailored to each client — whether the goal is competition, general health, or aesthetics. Each location has its own trainer team; you can request a specific trainer when booking.
