Basic Policy on Personal Information Protection

AlphaEdge takes the utmost care in protecting the personal information entrusted to us by customers who use the services AlphaEdge provides ("the customer"). AlphaEdge will work to protect personal information in accordance with the following policy.

Definition of Personal Information

Personal information means information about an individual customer that can identify a specific individual through name, address, date of birth, gender, telephone number, email address, electronic files, or other descriptions that comprise such information (including information that can be combined with other information to identify a specific individual).

Acquisition of Personal Information

When AlphaEdge acquires personal information from the customer, we clearly state the purpose of use and obtain the customer's consent. Acquisition is carried out only within the scope necessary to achieve the stated purpose, and only by lawful and fair means. We will not acquire personal information through deception or other improper means.

Purposes of Use

AlphaEdge uses acquired personal information for the following purposes. If a need arises to use the information beyond the stated scope, we will notify the customer and obtain consent.
・Operation, maintenance, and management of the services AlphaEdge provides
・Provision of services to the customer
・Communication with the customer for purposes such as confirming reservations
・Other operations related to or incidental to the above purposes

Management of Personal Information and SSL

Personal information acquired from the customer is managed strictly, with appropriate measures taken to prevent leakage, misuse, and tampering. When the customer provides personal information through the internet, we use SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption on parts of our forms to protect the entered information from unauthorized access and tampering, working to ensure the safety of the data.

Cookies

Cookies are one technology that websites use to recognize users. They are recorded on the hard drive of the customer's device (computer, mobile device, or tablet). When the customer revisits the AlphaEdge website, data is exchanged between the device's browser and the server; cookies stored within the browser may be referenced by the server. Cookies do not contain information that identifies an individual, do not infringe the customer's privacy, and do not adversely affect the customer's device. Use of cookies allows AlphaEdge to provide a customized service tailored to each customer on subsequent visits. The customer may change device settings to refuse cookies sent by the AlphaEdge website. Please note that some services provided through the website may then become unavailable.

AlphaEdge may use information collected through cookies to analyze how customers use the website (access patterns, traffic, routing, etc.) and improve website performance and the services we provide.

Use of Google Analytics

AlphaEdge uses Google Analytics to collect access information for the purpose of understanding how the website is used. AlphaEdge therefore uses cookies provided by Google Analytics on its website, but does not acquire information that identifies individuals via Google Analytics. The information collected, recorded, and analyzed by Google Analytics does not include information that identifies any specific individual. AlphaEdge works to manage the customer's personal information accurately and up-to-date. If the customer requests disclosure of the personal information AlphaEdge holds, we will respond promptly in accordance with our stated procedures. If any incorrect information is found as a result, we will promptly correct or delete it.

Revisions to the Privacy Policy

AlphaEdge may revise all or part of this privacy policy in the future. When important changes are made, we will provide notice on the AlphaEdge website in an easy-to-understand manner.
